    93Champagne Drappier Blancs de blancs (Sparkling white)

    Rounder almost oxidative notes, bruised apples almost peachy notes. The lees and oak certainly gives extra nuttiness and richness balancing the long crisp fresh white lemon acidity and chalky fruit. Acidity and purity of fruit is so good it can carry that slightly more oxidative nuttiness. Despite their Quattuor Blanc de Blancs ticking so many more boxes on paper, the regular Blanc de Blancs seems significantly more approachable and enjoyable.
