As far as the vinification goes, it’s pretty much a red, but it looks and tastes like a rather wonderful rosé. It is absolutely not typical of the area or the Côtes du Rhône. It’s only made in particularly good years (so not 2021), and although full of juicy, full-bodied cherry fruit, spice and vibrant, it is not a particularly age-worthy style.
