Subtle torrefaction, acorns, hazelnuts, a bit of smoke. Lots of red fruit, some red cherries. Pretty and silky on the palate. Lovely intensity, with plenty of ripe fruit, lightly silky, and lots of coffee on the finish. Overall, very elegant, delicate - acidity-dominated and a very lacy structure. The tannins are incredibly chalky, pretty, lightly floral - and keep themselves firmly to the finish, allowing the acidity and lots of red fruit to shine in the meantime. Very modern, classy and refined.
