Semi-translucent, slightly brickish edges. Despite the colour, the nose is unmistakably Syrah with leather, butcher shop, tar, garrigue, mineral and slightly iodine aromas. Very fresh, wild red berry fruit. Slightly saline and sandy. Very refined on the palate with remarkably lacy tannins, blue flowers and blackberries. An explosion of fruit with raspberries and strawberry jam. It has a beautiful light delicacy, proving that power does not mean good. Classic southern Rhone floral freshness. A very pretty wine that does not have the rustic seriousness of Provence.
