Château Pesquié Tandem (Red) 2023 - OutstandingAlmost translucent ruby red. Wonderfully mineral and floral on the nose with slightly reductive struck match, pretty red fruit, a hint of perfumed geraniums and herbal notes. The palate shows lovely elegance, fresh vibrant wild hedgerow, white blossom, crisp citrus, and subtle stone fruit. There is no way you could mistake this for anything other than Cinsault. Crisp, mineral, glassy, and crystalline with lots of lovely acidity. Perfect wine for those looking for a red that is elegant, lacy, perfumed, and delicate with minerality and freshness. Extremely modern and fashionable. Great for a summer red, not iced, but a fresh lovely wine with lovely acidity to go with cheese.
