Château Rasque Pièce Noble (Red) 2023 - OutstandingSemi-opaque garnet. Perfumed and scented on the nose with inky black wild berry fruit, plums, cocoa, and chocolate, offset by blue floral freshness. Beautifully chocolatey with notes of torrefied coffee on the palate. Concentrated, firm, and dripping in toasty tannins and hazelnuts. Some black fruit, black cherries, and elderberries add depth. Dark, complex, decadent, but refined and elegant, showcasing the cooler climate of these hills above Draguignan. Lasting and fresh despite the intensity and tertiary aromatics.
