Very pale coral. Ripe, almost bubblegummy berry fruit. Raspberries, blackberries, some hedgerow damsons and sloes. Acidity is perky and vibrant, with a rather appealing rosehip perfumed astringency to it. Elegant, refreshing, lots of red fruit and a nice depth. Needs six months to calm down, as there is rather a lot of aromatic pungency that is masking what might otherwise be a very charming and harmonious wine. Rather appealing overall.
