  Mid depth garnet. Bruised strawberries, blue plums and light inky notes on the nose, alongside pretty liquorice, sweet dill, leafy notes and slightly spiced florals. Soft, supple blue fruit and pretty black cherries on the palate. Ripe, with supple, traditional tannins and texture without feeling over the top. Elegant, full of garrigue and olde-worlde charm, with beautiful freshness. While some might find it a touch lacking in deep complexity, it is pretty, classy and a great introduction to Provence.
