Domaine des Anges Archange (White) 2023 - Highly RecommendedBright gold to dark gold. New oak on the nose with a touch of vanilla, coconut, spice and soft yellow peaches. The saline saltiness of the oak meets very bright citrus acidity on the palate. Beautifully perfumed and delicate, with a subdued, wispy yellow stone fruit presence. Slightly mineral and dominated by an umami oak that gets sweeter towards the mid-palate. Nice clean sparkle to the citrus acidity and some good ripe weight. The finish is very chalky, phenolic and oaky, but also remarkably fresh, glassy and crystalline. Mouthwatering, zesty and linear. Classy, but far too young and needs time to age.
