Domaine des Peyre Arte (White) 2024 - OutstandingPale lemon gold. The aromatics are floral and delicate with chalky and stony notes suggesting the influence of sweet, nutty oak. While the nose is subtle, the palate is powerful and textural, showing a lovely intensity of weight and silky acidity. Concentrated layers of bruised yellow fruit, honey, almonds and yellow flowers are supported by oak tannins that provide lift and interest on the finish. This is a serious, classy and somewhat taciturn wine that relies on depth and complexity rather than just acidity.
