  Almost opaque. Dark purple. Dill and coconut, black chocolate, minty freshness, blue inky tannins. Somewhat restrained on the nose at first, this quickly opens up to incredibly powerful, opulent, expressive black chocolate and coffee. On the palate, slightly drying, sandy tannins, moderate acidity, some blackberries and a smidgen of hedgerow fruit. A very modern fruit bomb. Supple juicy and lovely fresh minerality. Very serious, somewhat oak-driven, but a real triumph of balance and enjoyment. Commercially very appealing.
