  Pale lemon. Smoky, buttery oak on the nose with delicately smoky butterscotch and sweet orchard fruit. Silky and rich on the palate with gentle lemon acidity and some pithy citrus phenolics. A very gentle wine, a little saline. The soft fruit is pretty but lacks the weight and structure to carry the oak.
