Darker lemon gold. Seriously concentrated on the nose with a hint of oak, a touch of honey, generous almond blossom, white peaches, and slightly tropical notes. The palate offers lovely richness with quite restrained fruit and seriously textural, slightly pithy acidity. Despite the intense ripeness, it is wonderfully linear, precise, and controlled, but with a gentle and elegant touch. It is currently going through quite a closed phase, and you can see that there is more structure and fruit there waiting to emerge. Wonderfully refined, beautifully silky all the way to the finish. Concentrated, classy, dreamy. Stands out among white Bandol for its seriousness.
