  Mid dark semi-opaque ruby. Sweet, ripe butter blue fruit and pretty red fruit aromas. On the palate, dark blue-purple fruit alongside lots of crunchy red and black fruit. Opulent and supple, with silky, fine-textured blue mineral tannins, pretty inky leathery notes and hints of incense. The main thing reducing the charm of this wine is some blunt chalky acidity. Fresh and elegant with good potential, ending with charming minerality, though perhaps lacking a bit of complexity and depth.
