Mas de la Dame Coin Caché (White) 2023 - OutstandingBright gold. Soft yellow flowers, spice, straw, yellow stone fruit, honeyed beeswax, dried mixed peel and slightly toasty oak on the nose. On the palate, creamy oak dominates initially but yields quickly to incredibly concentrated, mellow fruit: brandy-soaked dried fruit, tropical notes and exceptionally rich Roussanne stone fruit. Remarkable acidity magically cuts through this richness, and the toasty oak is swept into a classy, mineral and intensely concentrated mid-palate. The highly complex finish brings white pepper and slightly edgy saline tannins from the oak, delivering just the right amount of phenolic grip. Mineral, exuberant, solar and ridiculously classy; achieves profound complexity alongside incredible elegance. The kind of wine that makes you want to close your eyes and imagine yourself someplace far more tranquil. Worthy of Les Baux!
