Triennes Saint Auguste (Red) 2022 - RecommendedDeep, mostly opaque dark purple-ruby. A restrained nose that hints at leather, garrigue, pot pourri and slightly dusty spiced red fruit. The palate is traditional, concentrated and very ripe, packed with blackcurrant. The fruit is currently quite closed and austere, structured by tight, serious and slightly dusty oaky tannins. A classic, traditional winter wine that will reward patience.
