Tenuta I Fauri Baldovino (Rosé) 2024 - OutstandingPretty cherry-red pink. Lots of orchard and cherry blossom on the nose with bitter almonds and dripping red fruit. On the palate, the exuberance of the sour cherries is restrained by a remarkably long, fine, dark blue mineral acidity and grip. Silky, elegant and fresh; a firm but gentle tannic finish takes a backseat to the wonderfully ripe-yet-fresh fruit. Beautiful acidity cuts through the concentration. For someone in the market for an energetic chilled red, but enamoured by the charm of good rosé, look no further.
