Voliero Brunello di Montalcino (Red) 2019 - OutstandingTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

Rich, intense citrus notes on the nose. Some black cherries. A hint of spice. Lots of black chocolatey fruit, without quite the minerality or salinity to be inky, but still has that darkness and richness. Some plums on the finish. Very atypical, but has everything I want in terms of complexity, concentration, intensity. Very lovely.
