Pretty floral notes on the nose, some sweet oak. Pretty cherry fruit. Elegant. On the palate, remarkably mineral - inky, black, dark and polished. Some cooked black cherries, and then the tannins... They hit you with everything they've got, and when you can't take it any more, they chase you around the block. Finish is drying, extracted... Too traditional.
