Château Romanin Grand Vin Rouge (Chateau) (Red) 2020 - Highly RecommendedMid depth semi-translucent garnet. Lots of concentrated and juicy red fruit, hedgerow berries, soft black fruit and blackberry aromas with a hint of garrigue, a whisper of leather, spice, nutmeg, cloves, a warm richness. and summer sun. On the palate dark blue fruit, a hint of juicy blackcurrants, crunchy leafy tannins, black inky fruit and minerality, restrained austerity and a whisper of woody pencil shavings on the finish. Still youthful and tight, but beautifully balanced all the way to the finish full of warmth and Provencal sunshine - genuine, charming, and ridiculously approachable. Classic Provence red that does the region proud.
