Famille Sumeire Chateau Coussin Sainte-Victoire (Côtes de Provence AOP) (Red) 2022 - OutstandingFrom the heart of Sainte Victoire, exclusively aged in steel. Opaque dark garnet. Slightly smoky dark black fruit aromas with roasting coffee, cacao, cedar, and nutmeg. Pretty herbal notes and garrigue. The palate is textural-first initially, offering intense, powerful inky fruit, wild plums, blackberries, and fruit of the forest. The ripe tannins are extremely firm and grippy whilst retaining fresh fruitiness and avoiding dry woody tannins. Long fresh acidity and dark chocolate salty freshness support tons of exciting, juicy black hedgerow fruit. Powerful, driven, crunchy, and elegant.
