Slightly confected, jammy black fruit. Lots of torrefaction, coffee, black chocolate. Violets, coffee, cacao. Drying tannins, but elegant and delicate. Pretty, lacy - a surprise given how dark and confected it was on the nose. Elegant and modern, and a great wine for those looking for complexity over concentration.
