Semi-translucent ruby. Oddly chocolatey and biscuity on the nose - richer and rather more intense than a lot of wines, without feling sweet or jammy. Elegant, delicate structure with rather a lot of extracted tannins. Crunchy, acidic, fresh, lightly floral. Can't say I warm to it. It's light, ethereal, classy, glassy even, with lots of freshness and a hint of cherry fruit on the finish - it feels like it knows it's better than the rest of us
