Máté Brunello di Montalcino Riserva (Red)

Brickish garnet. A little restrained on the nose. Some red fruit, pretty red flowerrs. On the palate, concentratd, intense, chocolatey and rich. Lots of raspberry jam. Has a wonderful concentration that feels like it's hrding all th fruit,a cidity and alcohol together. Really a very well put-together package, with plenty of richness and ripeness of fruit to hold everything together. HIgha cidity, softened by alcohol, high tannins, softened by fruit, and lots of fruit, softened by a subtle minerality. Very pretty. Would have loved to see a little bit more complexity, another dimension of concentration.
