Château de Beaupré Façon Phanette – Quésaco (Orange) 2025 - OutstandingBright gold. Slightly oxidative and sherry-like on the nose, with intense orange blossom and spice. On the palate, exceptional acidity and vibrantly chalky tannins. Elegant and spiced. Very, very textural, but with wonderful vibrancy. The spice opens up as this breathes into slightly more herbal garrigue and briney, saline olives. Exciting and vibrant, with unusually good acidity for this level of tannic extraction. A lot of 'orange' wine in Provence is just a white wine with a bit of extra weight, but not this one - this is bold, structured, textured and radically different.
