    Château de Calavon Astèros (Rosé) 2024 - Highly RecommendedTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

    Very pale shell pink. A very neutral nose at first, which opens up to beautifully elegant, delicate white citrus and some white stone fruit. On the palate, it delivers some very pretty intensity with cherries, raspberries and a hint of wild strawberries. This balances the fresh mineral acidity and gentle phenolics. Light, delicate, crisp and very well-balanced. Quite charming to drink, ending with a hint of cherry blossom. Classic and refreshing, with only a slight sense of warming alcohol on the finish.
