Château Vignelaure La Source (White) 2025 - Highly RecommendedPale water white. Pear drops, tomato leaves and a little restraint on the nose, alongside pretty crunchy white fruit such as green apples and nashi pears. Pear drops and white flowers on the palate with a sherberty textured acidity. Very saline and beautifully acidic. Balanced with long acidity, showing a lovely balance of aromatic prettiness with crisp zestiness. Elegant, approachable, maritime and zesty. A little pithy and saline on the finish reinforces that maritime freshness, perhaps at the expense of crowd-pleasing charm. Technically a good wine, even if the style is not for everyone.
