Caves São Joao 99 Anos De Historia (Rosé) 2018 - RecommendedPale coral. Big, bold oaky notes on the nose with spice and marmalade. Crisp, mineral and a little firm and saline, with pretty notes of almond blossom. Pithy phenolics and a slightly drying minerality, dry chalky texture, a touch of soft white citrus and some pretty red fruit. Very crisp, pale and refined, with nice fruit and oak. Ageing well although not developing much mature tertiary character. Fun and exciting, drink and enjoy today rather than for laying down for a few years.
