  The top wine from one of Tavel's four historic estates, located on sandy soils. Pale copper pinky-red. Bursting with spice and exuberant red fruit on the nose, with a touch of eucalyptus, garrigue and homemade jam. Exciting, crunchy and youthful, though on the palate the fruit turns gentler, with some slightly sour acidic berry fruit and a tighter minerality giving freshness. Tannins are very gentle, leading to a firm finish. There's a real intensity, honesty and structure here and, while distinctively a rosé wine, this is perfect for lovers of red wine on a hot autumn evening.
