Very pale coral, almost light copper-gold, verging on pale peach. A little smoky oak on the nose, some soft red fruit and well-extracted orchard fruit. Sweet peach and a hint of wild strawberries on the palate, with dry pithy phenolics. Rich, opulent, uncompromising body full of orchard fruit, balanced by crisp, firm acidity. Extracted and a little weighty towards the finish. A fabulous introduction to fine rosé.
