Vinum Hadrianum Publicius (Rosé) 2024 - ExceptionalTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

Dark cherry pink. Intense wild berry, sour cherry fruit, and hedgerow freshness on the nose with hints of wild herbs and apple blossom. The palate hits with immense power, offering vibrant, mouth watering glassy acidity and firm, crisp, angular, yet exceptionally well-integrated tannins. Straddling the borders of dark rosé and summer red, it delivers stunning depth, spice, and pomegranates alongside insanely ripe fruit. Balanced and harmonious despite the power, showing a coolness that defies a hot climate. Cerasuolo is about mastering tannins, and this does exactly that. Perhaps the perfect rosé for Pinot Noir lovers.
