    Dark copper gold. Cedar and pot pourri roses on the nose, alongside remarkably delicate and pretty red flowers and orchard blossom. Round, soft and almost lush with an autumnal richness on the palate. At the same time, it shows incredible precision and power; concentrated, driven, linear, mineral and vibrant, backed up by firm, chewy, slightly nutty oaky tannins. Long vibrantly fresh, wild red berry acidity and stony minerality on the finish, with hints of beeswax and spice. A beautifully complex wine combining richness and modern freshness. Crystalline, fruitful, concentrated, ripe and intense, the long ageing in oak barely noticeable. His best vintage yet.
