Buçaco Bairrada (Rosé) 2023 - Highly RecommendedModerate salmon. Bright red fruit on the nose. A hint of blueberries. Barely ripe, slightly pippy, but with Baga's boyish charm and rugged fruitiness. Firm, slightly chewy oaky tannins. Oak increasingly evident on nose as this breathes, but wonderfully supported by the intensity of fruit. I might have liked to see a bit less acidity, a bit more warmth - but this is undeniably Baga and Bairrada.
