Celler les Freses Rosa (Rosé)

Pale shell pink to pale coral. Very floral and sweet pear aromas on the nose. Slightly reductive at first, it very quickly pivots to slightly bruised apples and an oxidative, natty floral crispness. The palate is rather pretty, showing lovely dry Muscat character with fragrant lemongrass and fresh leafy acidity. Elegant, zesty, fruit-driven, and crystalline. Very crisp and crunchy. Not a great complex wine, but a lovely handling of the variety embracing the aromatics and firm, piercing acidity. For someone looking for a rosé with genuine aromatic charm but still fresh, delicate, driven, and textural.
