Champagne Devaux Chanseux (Rosé) 2018 - OutstandingTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

Light brick-red. Aromas of incredibly vibrant and ripe fruit, soft cherries, hints of sweet leather - it's a world apart. On the palate, soft cherry fruit, ripe red berries and opulence. Lots of black pepper, lots of thyme and hedgerow. Lovely silky tannins, concentrated and mouth-filling. A hint of pomegranate. Firm, mouth watering acidity, mineral, saline a touch of gaminess. Concentrated, serious, saline it's big, it's ripe, it's opulent. Beautiful ripeness with vast fruitfulness. Love it.
