Champagne Morel Rosé des Riceys (Rosé) 2022 - OutstandingTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim
Dark coral pink. Dark plummy cherries, lots of ripe plums and incredible blood orange salinity on the nose. On the palate the fruit is vibrant: sour, red hedgerow berries, mineral salinity, fresh and mouth watering with long length and intensity. The tannins are delicately drying , giving firmness to the rich and silky body. This has all the excitement of a rosé, electric, fresh and elegance, while still managing the depth, richness and complexity expected from top Burgundy.

We’re mother and son duo Elizabeth Gabay MW and Ben Bernheim. Between us, we’ve been involved in the wines of southern France for over 30 years. Elizabeth started working with the wines of Provence back in 1986, and for the past 20 years has lived on the eastern edge of south-east France.
