Chateau Musar Bekaa Valley (Rosé) 2020 - Highly RecommendedCopper gold, moderate coral. Hints of oak, nuts, bruised stone fruit and marmalade on the nose, accompanied by garrigue, almond blossom, incense and lavender blossom. Rich and enticing. On the palate, it is quite tannic, structured, tight and severe. This wine will divide opinion; while some find it somewhat lacking fruit, others appreciate its decadent yet elegant, driven, crisp and textured nature. Lightly textural and sandy around the edges, with a lightly saline mineral core and plenty of broadly appealing oranges. A little closed and tight on the finish, with a hint of phenolic grip, but otherwise a supremely complex wine.
