Château Trinquevedel Tavel (Rosé) 2025 - OutstandingLight copper pink-red. Gentle and beautiful perfumed aromatics with notes of fresh strawberries, delicate pink flowers and opulently ripe cherries. Vibrant acidity backed by generous, slightly chalky tannins and dry structure. Restrained for red wine drinkers, quite austere and linear thanks to the sandy soils, and, at this youthful age, would benefit from decanting. Charming and refreshing rather than simply pretty or fruity, showing the beauty of a slightly more concentrated, darker summer rosé that isn't relying on oak for weight or concentration, which is no easy feat to accomplish.
