Domaine de Metifiot Les Baux-De-Provence (White) 2024 - OutstandingPale lemon gold. Subtle, restrained, floral nose with fresh lemon fruit, orange blossom, and waxy, silky, opulent orchard fruit. On the palate, nicely balanced ripeness and opulently ripe fruit are cut through by fresh, saline, slightly grapefruity acidity. Shows nice intensity with white peach and raw nuts. Modern and clean, with a hint of slightly toasty, flinty, smoky oak on the finish that feels a bit raw currently. Elegant, powerful, and remarkably refreshing, striking a fabulous balance of zesty citrusiness and slightly more serious weightiness.
