Henners (Rosé) 2024 - OutstandingTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

The relatively new English wine scene is discovering its terroir. While many estates blend grapes from different locations, the Pinot Noir for this wine comes from the chalky downs only 5 miles from the English Channel, contributing to this wines bright breezy, briney maritime influence. The southern location almost guarantees ripeness. Smoky red cherry fruit and floral aromas, the palate is full of ripe cherry jam, fresh zesty redcurrants, juicy, crisp and crunchy on the palate. Long, fresh and balanced.
