Insula Clarete Chão de Sal (Rosé) 2025 - OutstandingTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim
Pale cherry pink. A hint of foxiness on the nose (there is some Isabella in the blend). On the palate, the cool Atlantic climate of the Azores contributes some vibrant, crunchy red fruit with the vibrant acidity of cranberries and rosehips and Isabella making sure its not forgotten with a hint of foxiness. Floral notes of cherry blossom and a hint of bitter almonds giving a silky, almost creamy charm. Slightly crunchy tannins and a lasting finish carry the weighty ripeness. Refreshing, almost natty.

About us
We’re mother and son duo Elizabeth Gabay MW and Ben Bernheim. Between us, we’ve been involved in the wines of southern France for over 30 years. Elizabeth started working with the wines of Provence back in 1986, and for the past 20 years has lived on the eastern edge of south-east France.
