Itay Lahat Garrigue (Rosé) 2024 - OutstandingTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

Very pale salmon pink. Very ripe, concentrated fruit, counterbalanced by a mouth watering salinity and crunchy, fresh redcurrant berries. Surprisingly concentrated but without being weighty, with length which just keeps going and fine mineral elegance. Fermentation and ageing in used barrels gives added structure and richness. This is the first vintage - so looking forward to see how this ages and develops. Certainly one of the best rosés coming out of Israel right now
