Izarbe Vino Rosé (Rosé) 2022 - RecommendedGolden yellow with apricot edges. Oaky, oxidative, tertiary aromas with a slightly saline, aged character. Old fashioned and quirky, tasting like an old Tibouren. Creamy, dried peaches and nuts, though it could do with more fruit, weight and structure. Fabulous acidity despite the alcohol, with freshness and some gentle tannins. Almost funky, but really rather lovely in its own old-fashioned way.
