Jeff Carrel Domaine d’Ansignan Les Grenadines (Rosé) 2025 - Highly RecommendedBright, translucent cherry red! Sweet cherry red fruit on the nose with oodles of pretty pink cherries and light cherry fruit. Wild strawberries and barely ripe raspberries. Warm and generous on the palate with dry, gentle tannins. The ever so slightly crunchy youthful tannins really lift this up. Absolutely dripping in fruit, but with the tannins and edgy pithy acidity to cut through, this doesn't feel like a tooty-fruity white zin sort of rosé. It is gorgeous. Silky, confident, fruit-driven, textural, and mineral. Slightly sour on the finish, showing more cool climate fresh crunchiness than heavy weight. Absolutely invigoratingly charming. Perfect for a warm summer evening.
