    From the sandy soils of Tavel comes this very traditional Tavel. Bright copper pink. Restrained red berry fruit aromas with eucalyptus, garrigue and dark intense berry fruit, a touch of old oak and pot pourri spice. On the palate the damsons and bright hedgerow fruit build to subtle, almost silky but certainly present tannins on the finish, fresh acidity and some ripe weightiness. A touch of garrigue anchors this firmly to the southern Rhone, its ripeness makes it full of full of everything: fruit, tannins, acidity, aromatics and tertiary notes, Super fun and exciting, made in a style that rewards cellaring rather than youthful drinking.
