Perelada-Chivite Chivite Colección 125 (Rosé) 2023 - OutstandingDark copper pink, bright coral - shimmers in the glass very, very beautifully. Strawberry and cream aromas carry on with some intensity on the palate, alongside a little restrained concentration at first. Exceptional power with red cherries, extremely bitter almonds and marzipan, a hint of oak and slightly jammy raspberries. Some delicate oak tannins ground the soft fruitiness, fresh acidity and strawberries and cream, maybe drying the finish a little. Closed and youthful. Serious, classy and utterly no-nonsense. An absolute stunner. Needs decanting, or come back in 5 to 10 years.
