    This estate is located in the. western edge of the Douro, known for its greater freshness. Justina Teixeira has a clear idea of the style she wants and aims for the freshest grapes possible with careful parcel selection. The Touriga Franca comes from a parcel which gets no direct sunlight! Harvesting two weeks before the red wines in used barrels, the wine has an intensity and purity of fruit. There is an almost buttery, coconut, sweet fruit aroma but on the palate there are dry tart red currants, concentrated wild berry fruit and vibrant acidity. Long powerful and really lovely. Still very youthful and will certainly get better - a rosé which could age for a few more years.
