  From Austria's relatively new (2018) Burgenland DAC Rosalia, comes this excellent Blaufränkisch oak-aged rosé. Floral notes and sweet oak on the nose, with some youthful leafy, austere sternness. Sweet red fruit continues on the palate with lovely acidity, initially quite closed, but benefitting, at this young age, from decanting. As the fruit opens out it gives a rich, weightier balance to the oak, the fine oak tannins give strength and backbone and take a back seat. Still very young and one to put by in the cellar for a few years to enjoy its gracefully maturity.
