Villa Baulieu Villa Baulieu (Red) 2019 - OutstandingMid-depth ruby red. Spice, chocolate, black coffee and slightly reductive dark inky blue-black fruit with a hint of leather. On the palate, supple velvety tannins are enveloped in generous and very ripe alcohol with structural, slightly sweet oak on the mid-palate. Opens up to crunchy red fruit, redcurrants and a hint of cranberries with really vibrant acidity. Beautiful depth and lovely complexity; the finish is youthful, fun and charming, providing a real contrast to the seriousness of the nose. Utterly ripe and very Provençal.
