Pale coral. Pretty smoky black tea notes, a hint of overripe mango and yellow peach. Cantaloupe and slightly saline smokiness on the nose. Remarkably full-bodied on the palate, bringing pretty orange flowers and tropical intensity to the mid-palate where thinner rosés would offer only razor-thin acidity. Slightly phenolic, slightly drying tannins on the finish, enveloped by exotic prettiness. Refreshing, elegant, perfumed and utterly ripe, despite the risible 11% abv. Charming, and a genuinely thoughtful, wholesome and serious wine for a very reasonable sub-€25 price point.
